Since its inception in 1889 led by Rev. Wrottesley, The Hall has weathered its fair share of ‘ups and downs’ but maintained its place in former pupils’ hearts as a highly regarded and much-loved prep school. Some of our school traditions may have changed over time, but the key values of Endeavour, Courage, Self Discipline, Community and Humility are still held dear.
The Hall has always inspired boys of talent from a range of heritages to live full and distinctive lives, as evidenced not least in the many photographs and artefacts held within the school
archives. We are proud that alumni of The Hall have gone on to study at a wide range of senior schools and universities in the UK and around the world. They have made and continue to make significant and diverse contributions in almost every domain including the worlds of sport, music, the arts, theatre, the legal and medical professions and the financial world.
We are delighted to be engaging with more and more former Hall boys. We see that alumni enjoy keeping up-to-date with what their school is doing now as well as learning what old friends are up to; formal and informal
events are always joyous occasions in which to catch up. The Hall Connect is available to past parents and staff too; during the years of their son’s attendance at The Hall, staff and parents often develop lasting friendships with others and might relish the opportunity to make contact again. Please join us in this by logging in or registering to set up your Hall Connect profile.
I very much hope you enjoy browsing through this website and look forward to receiving your comments and suggestions.
